The trial license is valid for 15 days from activation. During this period, you can use the software without restrictions.
The trial includes a package of Altair Units that allows full access to SimLab.
There are no limitations on model size or number of saves. You can use SimLab with the provided example files or apply it directly to your own CAD geometry.

Annual Subscription
SimLab can be purchased through an annual subscription using the Altair Units licensing model. This offers maximum flexibility.
With Altair Units, you get a commercial-use subscription license that allows access to SimLab and other Altair simulation tools.
Start by contacting a SmartCAE sales representative to receive a tailored quote.
The subscription enables access to all simulation technologies you require through Altair Units.
Subscription plans are valid for one year and are billed at the start of the term.
Licenses can be Floating on-prem or Hosted depending on your organization’s needs.
You may cancel at any time, but the software remains active until the contract ends. No refunds are available.
